I am now a proud owner of the Snapshots promo CD with pre-mastered tracks and a few demos.
On first listen the unmastered tracks sound a hell of a lot more dynamic than the official master.

Puts me in mind of her first less than perfect album "Love Moves" where the scrapped track 'Time To Live Your Life' in its so-called "demo" form beat the living crap out of just about everything on that rather staid 1990 album. Down to her spot on genius, as usual, she couldn't even make it a B-side.
